Diamond Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Gene (Hilda Messer) DeVillier of Lake Charles will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family celebration to be held later this summer.

Their children and spouses are, Lindy (Randy) Edwards of Lake Charles, Ronnie DeVillier of Lake Charles, and Doug (Kim) DeVillier of Moss Bluff.

Gene and Hilda were married May 11, 1962, and have eight grandchildren, Jake Edwards (Monica), Sarah Hannum (Jonathan), Hannah Berryhill (Brandon), Phillip DeVillier (April), Ashley Dupre' (Ross), Mia DeVillier, Benjamin DeVillier, Carson DeVillier; and 12 great-grandchildren, James, Emmy and Lila Edwards, Grayson and Peyton Hannum, Abel and Nathan Berryhill, Ford and Teddy Dupre', Hank DeVillier, Bella Lindley and Evelyn Deshotel.
