Mr. and Mrs. Gene (Nita Horn) Maddox of DeRidder will celebrate 60 years of marriage on June 1, 2023. Gene and Nita were married June 1, 1963 in Natchitoches, La. at the First Baptist Church. The couple have two children, Jackie (Clay) Johnson of DeRidder and Tommy (Katie) Maddox of Sulphur, and five grandchildren; Ashley, Macie, Hallie, Grant, and Matthew.
