Golden Anniversary
Robert (Stormy) and Beverly Castleberry will celebrate 50 years of marriage with family and friends throughout the week of August 6th, 2022. The proud couple have three children; son, Dr. Stephen B. Castleberry married to Rebecca Pharis residing in Sulphur, La.; daughter, Dr. Alicia Castleberry Kober, married to Mike S. Kober residing in Baton Rouge, La.; and daughter, Dr. Devon Castleberry Owens married to Bryan Owens residing in Lawrenceville, Ga. The couple have eight grandchildren with one due in the middle of August. They are Andrew, Emma, Harper and Pipper Castleberry, Madison and Riley Kober and William and Norra Owens.
Robert and Beverly were married Aug. 6, 1972, at First Baptist church in Welsh, La. by the late Rev. Philip W. Bowers, Beverly's oldest brother. Robert is a retired Instrument Engineer of PPG Industries, Axiall and Westlake South Chemicals. Beverly is a retired teacher and Assistant Principal of S.J. Welsh Middle School of the Calcasieu Parish School system. The couple has resided in Sulphur primarily for the last 50 years.
