Elyce Ieyoub and Benjamin Michael Parks were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. , Feb. 4, 2023, in St. Catherine of Siena Church in Metairie, La. Officiant of the Nuptial Mass ceremony was the Rev. Andrew Gutierrez.
Elyce is a graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Currently, Elyce is an attorney for Chaffe McCall, LLP in New Orleans.
Benjamin is a graduate of Jesuit High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Currently, Benjamin is an attorney for Liskow & Lewis APLC in New Orleans.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher (Kim) Ieyoub of Lake Charles, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Julie) Parks of Metairie, La. Elyce is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oran Gaspard of Kaplan, La., Dr. and Mrs. Kalil Ieyoub of Lake Charles, and Mr. and Mrs. Remy Miller of Lake Charles. Benjamin is the grandson of Mrs. Maryann Kincaid and Mr. Jewel Kincaid, both of Metairie, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Parks Sr.
Matron of Honor was Emily Stewart, and bridesmaids were Madeline Allen, Olivia Kjellsten, Mary Grace Parks, Autumn Hill, Laura Lubeck, Abigail Axelson, Maggie O’Dowd, Kirby Anne Plessala, and Allison Nicaud.
Flower girls were Georgia Ieyoub and Taytum Grace Stewart and ring bearer was Jacob Duplechin. Best Man was Luke Parks and groomsmen were Logan Courrege, Blake Eichhorn, Christopher Ieyoub Jr., Joseph McAloon, Jonathan Pottharst, Coby Stewart, Kevin Silvera, Joshua Talbot, Nicholas Yeager.
Ushers were Matthew Ardoin and Daniel Evans.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the newlyweds will reside in Metairie, La.
